How long will it take to clean my gutters?

It all depends on the size and type of property. For a 3 bedroom semi detached the work should take 1 - 1/12 hours. Large detached propertys can take 2-3 hours. Houses with difficult access can take considerably longer. We will always keep you posted on our progress with the gutter cleaning.

Do I need to be in when you come to clean my gutters?

Preferably we like the customer to be present during gutter cleaning appointments. If access to the rear of the property can be arranged and also access to a power source to run our gutter vacuum then it is not necessary to be at home.

Is it really necessary to have my gutters cleaned every year?

If your house is close to tall trees and or you have a problem with moss on your roof then yes we recommend you have your gutters cleaned at least once a year. Quite often we get called to clear the gutters on a property where the owner is worried that they haven't had their gutters looked at since they moved in some 5 years ago and all we find is a bit of roof debris and sand from the roof tiles. We will always be honest and recommend how often we think it is necessary to clean your gutters.

How can you see if my gutters are clean if you don't use ladders?

We use a wireless camera which sends live video down to a screen for us to view. This enables us to see areas of your gutters that we would not normally be able to see due to access problems such as above consrvatorys.

I have noticed some dripping from my gutters. Will having them cleaned resolve this?

Sometimes do to excess debris in the gutters the rain water can back up and overflow causing drips or miny waterfalls! In these cases removing the debris from your gutters will allow the water to drain properly. Sometimes te joints in the guttering can fail and need repairing or replacing.

Can you repair or replace my guttering?

We can carry out simple repairs to you guttering. This may involve using a gutter sealant on te joints or replacing individual parts. We do not currentlyt offer a full gutter replacement service.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Currently we only accept cash or cheque or bank trasfer as payment for gutter cleaning works.
